...A  lifelong resident of Long Island, a beach lover and a history buff, a lover of literature and of the word...

    I serve as a docent for New York's historical Fire Island Lighthouse and I sail as crew member on the historic oyster sloop "Priscilla" for the Long Island Maritime Museum.  

     In short, all the elements came together for me to create the historical fiction SHIPWRECK of HOPES.
